About Me

Hi, I’m Michelle Evans — founder of Cascades Bookkeeping and Business Services, LLC.

After more than 20 years in the medical field and several years working in business and accounting, I decided to take a leap and start my own firm. Now, with over three years of experience running my own bookkeeping business, I help small businesses across industries stay organized, compliant, and confident in their finances.

I currently manage bookkeeping for a wide range of clients — from construction and real estate professionals to retailers, restaurants, nonprofits, and healthcare providers. My services are always tailored, never one-size-fits-all. Whether you need monthly bookkeeping, QuickBooks setup, payroll support, or financial statements, I’ll help you build a system that actually works for you.

I bring a calm, detail-oriented approach to my work — a blend of business strategy, real-world experience, and the care I developed in my years as an RN. My goal is to take the stress out of your books, so you can focus on the parts of your business you love most.

Fun Facts About Me

  • I live in the mountains and love spending time outdoors, especially in the garden. My other home is Whidbey Island were I grew up.

  • I unwind by painting — it’s my creative escape from the numbers.

  • My dogs and chickens keep life fun (and a little chaotic!).

  • I’m a puzzle-solver at heart — which is probably why I love cleaning up messy books.

  • I carry over my years of experience as an RN into my business — I lead with care, clarity, and doing what’s right.
